Well you've decided it's time to hit the road and the only thing you need to do is figure out how to make some income along the way.
First, you need to ask yourself some questions and answer them heart-fully.
Am I open to the idea of creating my own income OR have I been pulling a paycheck from another company most of my life?
Do I like the job I'm doing right now?
Can the job I'm doing right now be done on the road?
Do I do anything else besides work, that I really enjoy like crafts, event planning, cooking, hairstyling, computer help, etc.?
Write each answer down because we'll keep going back to those questions as we plan out what your new business will look like on the road.
I have been assisting individuals with making the same decisions about starting a business for the past 20 years. It's not something to be done quickly or without planning it out.
Even if your employer says you can work remotely there are many things to consider like:
"should I get a stand up desk that lowers to become our dining table"so I'm not sitting all the time?
"how many different ways can I get and stay connected to the internet while I'm moving from place to place"?
"how do I organize and save all of my files in the cloud for easy access"?
If you're thinking about becoming an entrepreneur on the road and would like to have a mentor assist you, I'm for hire. Just contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can chat a little and find out what your next life chapter holds.
